The Morgan Dollar contains over 3/4 ounce of pure silver and is the largest U.S. silver coin ever made for circulation – its diameter measures almost 1 1/2 inches wide. The obverse of the coin depicts Lady Liberty wearing a slave’s cap (an ancient symbol of freedom) with the word “Liberty” inscribed on a ribbon. The reverse features an American eagle holding an olive branch of peace and arrows of war.
Graded by ICG in MS65 condition, these 1921 Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollars are still relatively affordable. Each coin is encapsulated in ICG’s tamper-proof casing to protect its condition.
