2010 Inaugural Strike MS67 Native American Dollar Set

Honor the contributions of Native Americans with a dazzling pair of golden-colored coins - the 2010 Philadelphia and Denver “Inaugural Strike” MS67 Native American (Sacagawea) Dollar Set.  The obverse of these coins features the Indian maiden figure or "Sacagawea" design first produced in 2000.  The coin’s reverse (which will change with every year of issue) features the Hiawatha Belt design – a visual depiction of the 5 members of the Iroquois Confederacy: the Onondaga, Mohawk, Oneida, Cayuga and Seneca Nations.

This beautiful mint mark set includes:

• 2010 Philadelphia Mint MS67 Inaugural Strike Dollar coin
• 2010 Denver Mint MS67 Inaugural Strike Dollar coin
• Velveteen and satin presentation box

Starting in 2009, the United States Mint began its Native American Coin Program which features different designs celebrating the important contributions made to the history and development of the United States by Native American tribes and individual Native Americans.  Like the Presidential $1 coins, the Native American Dollar coins maintain their distinctive edge, golden color and edge-incused lettering of the year, mint mark and E Pluribus Unum motto.

Graded MS67, these are mint state coins with no visible hairlines without magnification, and are above average in luster and eye appeal.  MS67 is the highest grade achievable for coins produced for circulation.  They are also designated as Inaugural Strike issues (minted within the first 30 days of production) and are a limited edition of just 395 sets.  Each coin is encapsulated in a tamper-proof slab to protect and preserve the MS67 Inaugural Strike certification.
